Heirloom Crab Dish from Butuan (Bunta’a)

Bunta’a is a traditional dish from Butuan, Philippines that is made with fresh crabs, coconut milk, and spices. We are at Natad Olympia, a restaurant owned by Marlyn Ruiz in Butuan City, which serves dishes made with recipes from the region. Together with her childhood friend, Erlinda Montilla, the fun duo will demonstrate how Bunta’a is cooked as they talk about its cultural importance to society.
