Bicol Express is a familiar delicacy when you talk about the Bicol Region in the Philippines. It is traditionally made with coconut milk, meat, and chilies. The sweetness from the coconut adds a beautiful contrast to the spiciness of chili peppers, making it a balanced gastronomical masterpiece.
We tried a few places in Naga and made a surprise visit to a famous spot in Camarines Sur to try their different versions of Bicol Express.
