Braised Cabbage

How do you fix cabbage? Butter…and lots of it. We usually serve cabbage as side salad or with soup, but this time we thought of something different that brings out all its flavors! So if you’re a cabbage hater, consider trying this recipe and you might just reconsider!

BRAISED CABBAGES

Ingredients:
3 tbsp oil
1 head cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
¼ cup unsalted butter
¼ tsp pepper
Braising Liquid:
2 tbsp brown miso
½ cup veggie stock
1 tbsp Maggi Magic Sarap
2 tbsp Maggi Oyster Sauce
Procedure:
1. In a pan with hot oil, sear your cabbages on both sides for 2 minutes on each side. Add butter.
2. In a bowl, combine miso,stock, Maggi Magic Sarap, oyster sauce, and veggie stock. Pour into the pan and cover. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until cabbage core is tender.
