Tasty Champorado

Craving for an easy to make sweet treat? Try this fun champorado recipe today! Are you team powdered milk or regular milk for your champorado topping?

TASTY CHAMPORADO

Ingredients:
1 cup glutinous rice, soaked in water for 15 minutes
2 cups water
⅔ cup coconut milk
½ cup sugar
4 pcs of tablea
⅓ cup Nestle All Purpose Cream
2 tbsp powdered milk, toasted (optional, for topping)

Procedure:
1. Put your glutinous rice and coconut milk and water into a pot and allow the rice to cook.
2. Once it’s boiling, add the sugar and tablea and cook for another 5 minutes or until the texture becomes thick and the tablea has melted. Stir as needed. Once rice is fully cooked, serve in a bowl.
3. Serve hot topped with milk powder and whipped salty cream using Nestle All-Purpose Cream or your topping of choice! Makes 3-5 servings.
