Forgotten Filipino Food Traditions

Christmas in the Philippines is built around family, memory, and shared meals. Over generations, food has played a central role in shaping how Filipinos celebrate Noche Buena. But as tastes change and international influences grow, some traditional holiday dishes have slowly faded from our tables.

In this episode, we revisited Filipino Christmas dishes that once defined the celebration. Through stories, memories, and cooking, we meet the cooks who continue to preserve these dishes and the traditions they carry.
