Healthy Sinigang Munggo Guisado

We’re pairing the subtle, savory taste of munggo with the sour kick of sinigang! This easy but tasty munggo guisado recipe is the perfect way to get through the day.

Sinigang Munggo Guisado

3 tbsp oil
1 pc onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 pcs tomatoes, cut into wedges
¼ kg pork belly, cut into cubes
1 cup munggo, soaked in clean water overnight
1 liter water
1 tbsp Maggi Magic Sarap
1 pack Maggi Sinigang Mix
1 bundle kangkong leaves

In a pot with hot oil, saute onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Add pork and cook until it changes in color.

Add munggo followed by the water. Season with magic sarap.Add sinigang mix then bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the munggo is tender.

Turn off the heat and add kangkong leaves. Cover. Makes 4 servings.
