After losing her corporate job in Manila, Gina Colinayo returned home to Villareal, Samar with just ₱2,500 and a decision to trust her grandmother’s heirloom cookie recipe.
In this episode, we follow how a small home kitchen turned into a growing provincial bakery built on belief, skill, and heritage. Known locally for corioso — traditional Samar butter-style cookies pressed with carved wooden molds — Gina revived a recipe rooted in family memory and transformed it into a livelihood.
