How This Mom Turned Her Homemade Food Into A Business | Pandemic Kitchens

It was May of 2020, a typical morning for Patrick de Veyra. He was out on a walk with his sister and dogs when all of a sudden, he thought about his mom’s homemade puttanesca.

Remembering its flavour and that feeling of comfort it always gave him, he wanted to give other people those same emotions. 

At the time, his mom, Maling de Veyra, was busy debating on social media. It was an anxious epoch as the world was only three months into lockdown and misinformation was even more rampant than it is now. To get her mind off of the stress of virtual reality, Maling

agreed to her children’s business plan.
