Hapag is opening one of the most exciting new restaurants this year—and this is your first look into their all-new kitchen and cocktail bar. On top of the stress the team was probably feeling, they allowed us the time to document their last week before opening. From their trainings, to wine tastings, and vulnerable moments.
Chef Nav and Chef Thirdy are back with an all-new Hapag (previously in Quezon City) and this time it’s in a bigger space in the heart of Makati City. Filipino fine dining doesn’t have to be intimidating and should be enjoyed amongst family, and this what Hapag is best known for.
Hapag 2.0 is an ode to their classic dishes that highlighted regional tastes and traditional Filipino cooking techniques, but fans and newcomers will also be pleasantly surprised with their new tasting menus and space.
