Patis Caramel Wings
Ingredients
½ kg chicken wings, wing and drumette separated
2 tsp Maggi Magic Sarap
⅛ tsp pepper
1 tbsp calamansi juice
1 cup flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
oil for deep frying
Patis Caramel Glaze
3 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, grated
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup honey
3 tbsp patis
Procedure
Combine chicken wings, magic sarap, pepper, and calamansi juice. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl. Coat each wing with the flour mixture, packing it in to make sure the breading adheres to the skin. Fry each for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.

In a pan with hot oil, saute garlic until tender. Add brown sugar and honey. Cook until the sugar has dissolved.
