The Forgotten Heart of Manila (Quiapo)

Quiapo is a historical area located in the capital of Manila, Philippines. It’s a diverse epicenter of various cultures, religions, and food centers that are a feast for the senses. Nowadays, the once vibrant streets are adorned with abandoned artifacts from the past, in danger of being totally forgotten by this modern world. However, it is not too late.

Join us in this documentary about the uncertain future of Quiapo, as we explore its secrets through the lens of its people. From meeting with religious figures, historians, activists, and OG carinderia owners, this is everything that you need to get a taste of the heart of Manila.
