RICE PUDDING

Ingredients:
½ cup (100g) short grain rice, uncooked, washed
3/4 (180g) cup water
1/4 cup (60g) whole milk
1 packet (250ml) Nestle All-Purpose Cream
¼ cu (78g) p sweetened condensed milk
⅛ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
⅛ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
¼ cup (40g) dried fruit (optional)

Procedure:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine uncooked rice and water. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
2. In a large saucepan, combine milk, Nestle All-Purpose Cream and sweetened condensed milk. Add the cooked rice and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently for 15-20 minutes until the mixture starts to thicken.
3. Stir in salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly until the pudding is thick and creamy. Stir in dried fruits and remove from heat.
4. Serve it warm or refrigerate for a few hours and serve chilled. Makes 4 servings.
