Pampanga is a biodiverse province located in the Philippines that is home to beautiful lakes, waterfalls, natural hot springs, and beautiful volcanoes like Mt. Arayat and Mt. Pinatubo. Amongst these natural gems are swamps, marshes, and coastal wetlands that are essential to our existence and serve as one of the important sources of livelihood of the nearby communities.
We are in Sasmuan to learn more about the fisherfolks who operate their businesses around these wetlands and how they are taking the necessary steps towards sustainable aquaculture.
