How Selling Tinapa Helped a Father of Eight Survive

Before the town of Concepcion wakes, Narciso is already working inside his tinapahan. Surrounded by smoke and salt at five in the morning, he prepares, boils and smokes hundreds of galunggong that will later be sold as tinapa.

This episode honors a hardworking father based in Tarlac–his quiet strength, discipline, and perseverance that fed his family of eight children. Join us as we document a day in the life of a tinapa vendor.
